Here is only a selection of events run by both members of the College and our parent Barony Rowany.
The College of St Ursula celebrated its birthday at St Peter's Primary School on Saturday November 12th. The heavy tourney, run by Theodulfus Vindocladius Audax of House Attica, was held in 'bear pit' format, meaning that each fighter faced every other twice; the participants gallantly battled heatstroke and each other until Adam the Renegade won, becoming Winner by Prowess, and onlookers voted Yorick of St. Ursula the most chivalrous fighter, making him Winner by Valour. Yorick had previously won the archery tournament by the more traditional method of killing all his opponents. At the evening's feast, stewarded by Lady Mevanwy, the populace enjoyed delicious and plentiful (though surprisingly carrot-free) food, the Bear Dance and the Little Duck Dance were performed without mishap, and the new officers of the college took over from the old. The incoming officers assumed their responsibilities with dignity and confidence; the outgoing ones refrained from gloating audibly until court was over, but made up for lost time afterwards.
